Driving
St. James is located near the convergence of the Somerville, Cambridge and
Arlington lines. We are on Broadway which intersects with Route 16 (Alewife Brook
Parkway).
From Route 2, exit onto Route 16. Cross Mass.
Ave., and at the second light turn right onto Broadway. Proceed three
blocks down Broadway to Clarendon. St. James is on the right.
From Harvard Square, proceed North on Mass. Ave,
past the MBTA bus garage. Turn right on Cameron. At the end of Cameron,
turn left on Holland. St. James will be on your left after you pass the
fire station.
Limited parking is available on Clarendon Street, during regular worship
hours.
Take the Red Line to Davis Square. Walk up Holland Avenue past the
fire station. You can also get to St. James on bus routes 87, 88 or 89 via Davis Square or Clarendon Hill.
There is a ramp to enter the parish hall on the
Clarendon Street side. There are two steps from there into the church.
