St. James Episcopal Church Celebrates 131 Years!

Hear ye! Hear ye! Hear ye!

Are you, a family member, or a friend a long-time Somerville resident? Is your family name (or that of a friend or relative) listed here?
Booth, Fairweather, Felton, Flewelling, Johnson, Kenney, McElroy, Miles, Mitchell, Moncrief, Mosich, Mueller, Oberbeck, Pettus, Pillsbury, Rowsell, Shaffer, Stewart, Vincent, and White

These folks gave, or were honored by, memorial gifts to St. James Episcopal Church, Somerville, MA. Their names appear on stained-glass windows, communion sets, crosses, or other cherished objects. We would love to learn more about the people who were so important to St. James.

On Saturday, 17 November 2018, 5 pm, St. James, 1170 Broadway, celebrates 131 years of service to Somerville and its neighbors. We call all current and former members to join us and our Bishop, the Right Reverend Alan M. Gates, for Holy Eucharist. At the reception that follows, we plan to share stories about St. James, its members, and our role in Somerville’s history.

We hope you’ll join us!
