Love and Spring Cleaning, a benefit concert, 5/17/15

Posted on ; Filed under Events

Join us 3pm, May 17th, when St. James hosts a very special concert and clothing drive to benefit Circle of Hope and Second Chances. Admission is a suggested donation of $10. For those whose spring cleaning has resulted in piles of unwanted, clean, wear-ready clothing, we ask that you bring what you have gathered to donate to these two worthy charities.

Featuring talented Somervillian Sylvia Berry, the program will include chamber music and songs celebrating love and the joy of spring. Full program details are to come, but we expect you will enjoy performances by Somerville (and neighboring) musicians, and music by Mozart, Haydn, J.C.F. Bach, Rossini, Schubert, and more. Slated for the program are:

  • Anney Barrett, soprano
  • Kathleen Flynn, soprano
  • Julia Cavallaro, mezzo-soprano
  • Sarah Paysnick, classical flute
  • Rebecca Shaw, cello
  • Dale Munschy, fortepiano
  • Sylvia Berry, fortepiano
