NO Memorial Parade, 5/20/2018

We’ve learned that, due to predicted thunderstorms, the city has cancelled the Memorial Parade that had been scheduled for tomorrow. No road closures in the area so expect an easy commute to and from St. James.

Church goers, please note that the City of Somerville will hold its annual Veterans’ Memorial Parade this Sunday, May 20, 2018 – 3:00pm. This might affect your travel from St. James after our 10am service.

According to the city’s web site, the parade will begin at City Hall, 93 Highland Ave., at 3:00pm and travel down Highland Avenue through Davis Square, officially ending at Broadway and Holland Streets. Street closure information will be disseminated through 311 and news releases from the City’s communications department.
