Open Letter from Rev. Clarence, 8/21/22

Dear Members and Friends of St. James,

I am pleased to report that there are no major items to report which have not been presented recently.  However, in-coming messages have reminded me that, despite the often severe temperatures and lack of summer precipitation, fall is ahead.  Reminders of our annual Diocesan Convention and standard Clericus Meetings have been placed onto our calendars.  While looking thusly ahead, I report that we continue to welcome new faces to into our midst, as summer attendance at Eucharist has remained steady.  As always, I solicit your comments and questions regarding our efforts to address efforts to secure our status in Teele Square.  And always, as we move forward, I bid your prayers for our nation and the world, that we will strive in all we do to bring peace to every corner of our globe.

Let us unite ourselves, the one with the other, as we pray under the banner of the Collect of the Day:

Grant, O Merciful God, that your Church, being gathered together in unity by your Holy Spirit, may show forth your power among all peoples, to the glory of your Name; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

May the peace of God, which passes all understanding, keep your hearts and minds in the knowledge and love of God, and of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord; and the blessing of God Almighty, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, be among you, and remain with you, and those whom you love, for ever.  Amen.
